FAQs
Are all the lessons on STEM+ free?
Absolutely. Every lesson on STEM+ Study Central is offered entirely free, as I aim to break down the barriers that limit access to quality education, especially for young students. I believe that learning should not depend on someone’s financial situation, so I will never put parts of lessons or blog posts behind a paywall. My goal is to make knowledge as accessible as possible, whether you’re brushing up on a subject for school, preparing for college, or simply exploring something new out of curiosity.
Who is the target audience of STEM+?
Lessons are designed with high school students in mind, since many topics align with what you might find in high school or introductory college courses. However, they’re also suitable for older learners who are looking for simplified, engaging explanations across STEM and the humanities. Whether you’re a college student seeking a refresher, an adult learner returning to education, or just someone who enjoys expanding your knowledge, the site is built to meet you where you are.
What is the “STEM+log”?
The STEM+log is the site’s blog section, where I publish essays and reflections that connect education, STEM, and broader societal themes. Some posts take a more academic approach, while others are creative explorations that link science and engineering to everyday life. For example, I’ve written about environmental issues, cultural perspectives, and even how small personal choices can connect to larger global challenges. It’s meant to be both informative and thought-provoking, offering readers a chance to see STEM topics in a wider context.
How often is new content added to STEM+?
Updates are published periodically, depending on the time I have available outside of my university studies. While I may not be able to post daily or weekly, I intend to grow the library of lessons and blog posts steadily in the coming years. Each piece takes time to research and write so that it’s accurate, approachable, and worth reading. My long-term plan is to continue expanding both the STEM lessons and the STEM+log, so there will always be new content to come back to.
Can I request new topics or reach out with questions?
Yes! You can contact me via the Contact page to request new lessons, suggest ideas for the STEM+log, or submit specific questions about the existing material. I welcome feedback from students, educators, and curious learners, because it helps me know what content is most useful. There’s also an option to sign up for email updates on the Home page, so you’ll be notified whenever I post new tutorials or blog entries. By staying connected, you can help shape the direction of STEM+ Study Central and ensure it continues to meet the needs of learners like you.
